After his “First Sermon” became a viral hit song, Black Sherif today has announced he will be releasing his “Second Sermon” on Friday 16th July, 2021.
This announcement comes days after Black Sherif released a snippet of the video Shoot of his second sermon, his usual rollout strategy. The video again caught the attention of the masses with some applauding him for his consistency and zeal in making music.
Black Sherif’s First Sermon after charting at NO.2 on Audiomack’s Top 10 HipHop Songs Worldwide ahead of some top Ghanaian artists, went on to receive his first Number 1 spot for Apple Music Top 100: Ghana.
Black Sherif in May released his new single “1st Sermon Freestyle” which is an anthem for all street hustlers. The single gives fans an insight on what to expect in his upcoming project “Road To The Tape.“
The song received support from Sarkodie, Criss Waddle, and Edem projecting him as the next big Artist to go mainstream in Ghana.
This year has been a very good year for Black Sherif, he has released two singles and has been featured on a viral hit single.
Later in June, Ghanaian-UK producer Jae5 who has been exploring new sounds and finding the best new act to work with from Africa, after creating magic tunes with Nigerian Artist Buju, approved of Black Sherif’s trap music style.
In a reply to a video of Black Sherif’s “First Sermon”, Jae5 quoted the Tweet saying “This is fxcking hard.“
